Project film - Invisible Dust

In August I had the pleasure of heading to Manchester and picking up filming on a project I first filmed in April 2014, as part of Invisible Dusts 'Invisible Heat' commissions. Artist Kasia Molga's project Human Sensor, focuses on how to make air pollution visible in daily life. In collaboration with Professor Frank Kelly,  Prof.Marcos BuckeridgeRicardo O'Nascimento (Fashion Advisor) and Erik Overmeire (Developer) she has created beautiful wearable technology, that lights up and responds to levels of air pollution. Presented in Manchester as part of Manchester Science in the City festival, eight dancers wore the outfits and performed a choreographed piece by Ruth Jones  across different commuters routes in Manchester.

It was fascinating to capture the responses of Manchester residents to the project, and to see the project come to fruition after many years of hard work from Kasia and her team.
