Spread The Word mentoring course for young poets

Earlier this year the documentary of the London Laureates project I was commissioned to create was released online. It was a privilege to meet and film with all the incredibly talented poets on the project, and the people working hard to make the mentoring project a reality.

The London Laureates scheme is run by Spread The Word, and supports young poets in London with mentoring, commissions and ongoing advice. The role of Young Poet Laureate for London is held by one candidate each year, with the remaining five making up that years 'London Laureates'. Now in it's third year, this film documents the projects, and showcases some of the hugely talented poets that have taken part in the scheme.
