Museum of London Docklands: Many East Ends

The monopoly dog player piece and a green house and red hotel sit in focus in the foreground whilst a group of people sit blurred out behind

Still from film

As part of Museum of London Docklands new exhibition Many East Ends, due to open as a permanent exhibition towards the end of 2012, I made a film documenting one of the projects with local youth group Tolerance in Diversity. The group of young people worked with artist Sarah Carne to design and create a unique art work that helps others realise what the East End means to them.

The result was a very personal monopoly board, with all stops, pieces and cards changed to reflect the personal experiences of East London for those in the group, handmade by Geoffrey Parker.

The film and final piece can be seen as part of the exhibition at Museum of London Docklands.
