Sheppey Promenade festival

Sheppey Promenade is the inaugural offering from residents of the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, celebrating it's architecture, heritage and arts. Taking place over a sunny weekend in September 2011, Sheppey Promenade saw over 1200 people enjoy 27 events across three days.

This short documentary celebrates this fascinating festival, showcasing the rich history, culture and architectural delights found on the island. With interviews from guest speakers Michael Palin and Dan Cruickshank, we also hear from local historians and residents.

With thanks to Tom Linay for help and support with the film.
