Poetry performances and trailer for London Laureates scheme

One of the projects I've been filming on over the past year has been Spread The Words Young Poet Laureate for London scheme. I was there at the announcement of the new 2014/15 YPL, Aisling Fahey, filming as part of a Legacy List film, who fund the project. Then followed a commission from Spread The Word to follow the project over the next year, until the new Young Poet Laureate for London was announced in October 2015. To get to this stage, young poets across London must first apply to the scheme, and so I created a short film to featuring London Laureates from across the previous two years of the project to help explain what they could expect.

Also created were short performance films of each of the 2014/15 London Laureates and their beautiful words: Laurie Bolger, Rachel Long, Aisling Fahey, Ella Frears, Debris’ Stevenson and Clare Mulley.
