Summer School with Foundation for Future London

In the summer of 2015, Studio Wayne McGregor worked with students from three east London schools who were about to become year 7 students. The summer school programme, funded by Foundation For Future London, aimed to prepare them for the move into secondary school, and took place in the schools they were about to start in come September. Alongside Company Wayne McGregor Dancers, the young people created a new piece of work exploring the theme of transition, giving a public performance in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at the end of the weeks workshops.
